4 Tips for Creating an Irresistible Call-to-Action for Your Webinar

Create a Call-to-Action Your Audience Can't Ignore
Reading Time: 8 minutes

How would you describe your ideal webinar call-to-action (CTA)?

Take a moment to think about it. After all, your call-to-action is critical for traffic conversions and improving your sales funnel. It is THE action you want to call upon your webinar audience to perform.

Your description may be something along the lines of, ‘my ideal webinar CTA should’:

  1. Be compelling!
  2. Convert a large number prospects into attendees.
  3. Keep conversion rates high at a low cost.

These are all good descriptions, and yet they highlight the fact that getting visitors to sign up for your webinar can be difficult. Visitors will abandon the landing page before entering their email address, they’ll ignore your newsletters, they’ll scroll pass your videos.

Considering all this, it is important to realize that your call-to-action plays a central role in the sales process and must be crafted carefully. If you can create irresistible and effective CTAs, you’ll increase conversion rates, reduce ad spend and improve ROI.

Here’s one line that encompasses all you should desire in your call-to-action.

Your call-to-action should be crafted such that your visitors can’t help but do it, whatever “it” is. Your CTA should be irresistible.

Here are some tips for creating a powerful, effective, irresistible call-to-action:

Why Repurpose Your Webinar?

Delivering quality webinars that your attendees will enjoy and that actually convert is hard work. From organizing useful content to crafting attention-grabbing visuals, a lot of sweat goes into producing an event that offers both a truly effective presentation that informs and an engaging experience that inspires.

Yet, in most cases, webinars are one-time events. The end of the webinar means the end of the experience, which in turn means the end of your opportunity to convert.

While the benefits from a single webinar can be substantial, why not amplify your results by repurposing the recording?

How To Make Meetings People Won’t Hate Attending

How to Make Meetings That People Won't Hate Attending
Reading Time: 11 minutes

It’s no secret – most of us love to hate meetings.

In article after article, study after study, research and anecdotal evidence suggests that meetings are easily one of the least popular workplace activities. And for good reason, as most are boring and in many cases amount to a complete waste of time and money.

In fact, a study conducted by Verizon Business revealed that a full 1/3 of meetings are unproductive – completely ineffective. Most meetings suffer from having no clear purpose or objective, they are neither inspiring nor motivating and are too often organized by weak presenters who are unprepared and overly redundant.

Regardless, meetings will remain commonplace in today’s team-based work environment, so you’ll simply have to make the effort to improve them.  There are many tried and true ways to do this – sending out invitations early, setting an agenda, encouraging participation, etc. – but even with these measures, most meetings still turn out dreary and dull.

So, let’s take it a step further. Let’s go beyond the run of the mill advice, with some lesser used, more creative tips that will help you spark engagement and foster productive, effective meetings that people won’t mind attending.

7 Creative Ways To Make Your Next Webinar Engaging & Memorable

webinar
Reading Time: 7 minutes

I’ve attended too many webinars to ever give a precise count. Like anything else, there were those that were engaging and interesting and there were, of course, others that were rather boring, predictable and even suspicious.

First, let’s go over the typical flow of most webinars. To make things interesting, we’ll start at the very top:

  1. Sensational ads are plastered over social media and other platforms promoting the event.
  2. As the day of the event inches closer, visions of grandeur are promised. Ads are shown more frequently with increasingly aggressive reminders.
  3. As the event starts, unbelievable promises are made.
  4. During the event, the host imparts information that seems to be leading up to something.
  5. Closer to the end you see how the tips/techniques were actually part of a larger, more important, limited product that you can get at a “ridiculous bargain.”

Bottom line: most webinars are done for the obvious and single purpose of selling a product. In general, this approach tends to lead to suspicion and low engagement with participants.

Delivering an engaging, dynamic webinar that captivates your audience is not easy. However, if you think creatively, you can distinguish yourself as an authority and present webinars that captivate and enthrall.
